Petersen Engineering 16 Augustus 2010
During the last Techno Classica exhibition we met Bob Petersen for the first time. This was the venue were the beautiful Dartmoor coupé was first unveiled to the public. Besides the fact that Bob is a very nice fellow, he and his team build beautiful cars, usually inspired by Bentleys as raced at LeMans in the 1920's. As a first project we are supplying an electric power steering unit for his 27Litre Bentley Merlin!
Klassikwelt Bodensee 3-6 Juni 2010
The Klassikwelt Bodensee is probally the most fun classic car event of the year. The special combination of Classic Planes, -boats and -cars with all the outdoor activities is unique. Unfortunately for all exhibitors the weather this time was so beautiful that the attendance of the indoor exhibition, where all specialists were, was dissapointing compared to last year.... This was a shame but nevertheless it gave all the exhibitors time to visit each other which also opened up business oportunities. The beautiful Aston Martin DB2/4 Convertible and Alvis Graber on our stand nevertheless attracted a lot of attention. A small foto impression:
DK Engineering
EZ Power Steering was in England to visit DK Engineering to convert a (RHD) Ferrari Daytona Spyder and BB 512i with our EZ Power Steering system. DK is a Ferrari Specialist with customers like Eric Clapton and many well known soccer players. We were very impressed with the professional workshop with rolling road facility, the friendly staff and the wonderful cars, a 288 GTO, F40, 250 LM and also an ex Sultan of Brunei 456 shooting brake... Techno Classica 14-04-2010
This year we had our hands full at the Techno Classica!
This time we brought a very exclusive Horch 853 Cabriolet and a Bentley MKVI Cabriolet to Essen together with a Porsche 911 Targa en Jaguar XK 140DHC. As usual we received visitors from variuos countries and our agents from France and Italy were also on our stand to receive French and Itlian speaking people. 
Garage van der Veken Brussel
EZ Power Steering received an order from Garage van der Veken in Brussels to convert a Ferrari Daytona Spyder and Aston Martin DB4 toelectric power steering in their workshop. Once we arrived in Brussels we were surprised to find that this was no "ordinary"Daytonabut the One off Michelotti Spyder. The story goes that this car, which featured in the movie "A star is born" with Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, had a small accident during shooting and the American importer, Chinetti, sent the car back to Italy so Michelotti could make something special. Tastes may differ but it is definitely something special! Retro Classics Stuttgart
Even though there was a terrible snowstorm on Thursday, plenty of classic car enthusiasts visited Stuttgart. EZ Power Steering exhibited in hall 1. So far away from home we were flanked by two Dutch classic car dealers, The Gallery and Potomac Motors. EZ Power Steering had brought a Porsche 911 and Mercedes 300S Cabriolet with electric Power Steering to Stuttgart the homebase of these two wonderful car brands. Many visitors and attending Mercedes Specialists ( Kienle, Mechatronic and HK Engineering) were very impressed. Horch Classic our other neighbour at the exhibition enquired into the possibility of fitting power steering to a Horch 853 and we expect to coöperate together soon. We can recommend visiting this exhibition to all!
Retromobil Paris 01-02-10
Retromobil Paris is different to all other European classic car exhibitions. Ten days of automobile souvenirs, art, boats, motorcycles and of course many French exotics, for example a two door Citroën DS rallye car and a SM with a Maserati V-8. Retromobile was also the premiere of the new Mercedes SLS standing brotherly next to the original 300SL Gullwing and a 300SLR. Paris is the only classic car show that lasts longer than a week but this didn't stop large numbers of visitors coming every day and many of them were interested in our EZ Power Steering system. The Retromobile was also the introduction of our 3meter diameter steering wheel which was hanging from the ceiling above our stand to make it easier for visitors to find us. Now were looking for somebody who can trim it in leather...

Interclassics & Topmobiel Maastricht
This year the Interclassics theme was 100 years Alfa Romeo. The enthusiast was not dissapointed, many seldom seen Alfa's were displayed with an Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale as highlight for most visitors. EZ Power Steering had brought an Alfa GTC and Touring 2000, both of course fitted with electric power steering. The Mercedes Ponton and Ferrari 512TR on our stand also generated a lot of interest. We met a lot of pleased existing customers but also a lot of new contacts that had never heard of our product. The first orders have already been placed.

A very special Porsche 911
Singer Vehicle design from Los Angeles USA builds extreme Porsche 911 cars. They start with a standard 911 and fit the best parts that Porsche developed over the last 40 years. A 425 HP engine from a 993 with a Getrag 6-gear transmission make this a very fast 911. With a small sports steering wheel and 225/45/17 front tires the car steers quite heavy at parking speeds. Singer contacted EZ Electric Power Steering and we supplied our standard Porsche 911 power steering for classic 911's with slightly different electronics.

The fastest Volkswagen bus in the world!
EZ Power Steering is specialized in Power Steering for classic cars but sometimes we get an offer we can't refuse....Last week we received a phone call from Berlin requesting us to fit power steering in a new model Volkswagen Transporter. Nothing special so far but this was the fastest Volkswagen bus in the world with a 800 horsepower, 900 Newtonmeter Porsche engine, 311 Km/H top speed and the steering wheel placed centrally in the car. We fitted our speed sensitive unit following which all the EZ Power employees made a test drive.... Wow, we are still impressed! The bus drove back to Berlin where Walter Röhrl drove the car the next day for television recordings for the German television. Hopefully this will convince more people that a modern properly setup Electric power steering is an excellent addition to a sporty car and driving style! The builder of this racing machine, TH Automobile, was so impressed with the system that they have become dealer for EZ Power Steering in the Berlin area.

This was the first time EZ Power Steering took part in the Auto Moto Italia exhibition in the Netherlands. It was a very interesting show with plenty of visitors and beautiful (Italian) cars.This years theme was classic 12 cylinder Ferrari's and thats why EZ Power Steering had two beautiful Ferrari's on display and an Alfa Romeo GTA . On Sunday we received a trophy for the nicest stand. See you next year!

Geneva Classics 2009 was a special happening for Aston Martin enthusiasts this year. Three Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato's were present (only 19 in the world) and even an Aston Martin DB1 was on display. We met many existing EZ Power Steering and new customers that were interested in the system, not only from Switzerland but also people from Germany, France and Italy tried the power steering in the cars on display, an Alvis Graber Cabriolet (Swiss body) and our Aston Martin DB2/4 and DB2/4 Convertible. The 7th international Concours de Elegance in the castle gardens of Schloss Schwetzingen was delightful this year. Sunday especially was a beautiful sunshiny day with many special cars. EZ Power Steering was present with a beautiful Jaguar XK 140 as a demonstrator car. Thanks to all the people that visited our stand and till next year!

The Techno Classica 2009 was a great succes for EZ Electric Power Steering. We received many customers that were interested in our products, private owners, dealers and classic specialists from mainly Germany but also many other countries.All were amazed by the effortless steering of the cars on display. Especially the BMW 503 Cabriolet generated a lot of interest (only 140 cars produced) but also the Porsche 911 Targa and Jaguar XK 150 generated a lot of interest!
